An autumnal landscape, beautiful trails, and a cozy place to stop for a break: On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the Eitorf Tourist Information Office invites you to join a hike of about 10 kilometers around Mierscheid.
The hike begins at 10:00 a.m. at the parking lot in the Mühleiper Valley on the L 86 ( coming from Eitorf, about 500 m before the entrance to Mühleip). From there, the tour leads over the Höhberg toward Mierscheid, past the local orchard meadows, and on to Irlenborn. A relaxing break is planned at Café Sieben Sachen. The trail then continues via Hausen and Büsch back to the starting point.
This moderately difficult loop hike involves an elevation gain of about 250 meters. The hike will be led by Angelika and Peter Klein. Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. The hike will be canceled if continuous rain is forecast.
