Coloring book "Colorful diversity"

The Bergisches Land Nature Park is publishing a colouring book on the topics of farm animals and cultivated landscapes, aimed at children of primary school age. The colouring book playfully draws attention to the central tasks of the nature park, such as preserving and maintaining the cultural landscape as well as preserving and promoting rare breeds and varieties in the region.

In addition to many individual drawings of animals, some of which are threatened with extinction, there are four large colouring pages on the cultural landscapes: a pasture, a wet meadow, a meadow orchard and a half-timbered house with a cottage garden. In addition, there is a lot of information about animals, cultural landscapes and the Bergisches Land in short accompanying texts.

The reading book Landscape in easy language

The Biological Stations Oberberg and Rhein-Berg have developed the "Reading Book Landscape - The Landscape in the Bergisches Land - Easy Language" together with the Rhineland Regional Association as project sponsor and the Bergisches Land Nature Park as cooperation partner within the framework of the LVR project "Designing leisure and learning inclusively - Nature for all".

On 36 pages, the brochure explains in easy-to-read language what a cultural landscape is, what its elements look like in the Bergisches Land and how you can preserve, experience and use them. Herb tips and a recipe complement information about plants and animals that live here. Graphics and photos support the reading.
