Do not leave your rubbish in the forest, please use the rubbish and recycling bins at the end of your walk. Carelessly discarded packaging can easily kill animals! When they mistake the garbage for food and eat it, when they get tangled up in it and can't free themselves, or when they build such watertight nests with plastic garbage that their young drown in them when it rains!

Dogs are welcome in the nature park, but please only on a leash. Even our most faithful companion can weaken when he gets a whiff of deer and hare. Spare the wild animals the dangerous chase and your dog the danger of disappearing. We ask you to dispose of any "leftovers" of your four-legged friends. Please always take filled dog excrement bags back with you, they have no place in the forest.

Cycling is generally permitted on all paths. Cycling pleasure is offered, for example, by roadside cycle paths, former railway lines, as well as country lanes and farm tracks.

In principle, smoking is not prohibited in the nature park area. However, especially in the summer months, there is an increased risk of forest fires. Smoking in the forest is prohibited from March to October.

Be careful when sharing paths and take care in narrow passages. Mutual consideration among recreationists is the most important part of common togetherness in nature.

Tip: In general, keep as quiet as possible in nature. This can only increase your chances of observing animals. Maybe visit one of the wildlife parks in the nature park?

Camping in the nature park is not allowed.

Beware of falling branches and tripping hazards such as roots or rocks. Do not visit the forest during storms, snow and ice, even for a few days afterwards! There is then acute danger to life and limb as branches fall or already damaged trees are uprooted can.
