The nature park portals are a project funded by the Ministry of the Environment, Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia with the aim of increasing the visibility of the nature park in the Bergisches Land region. The digital information pillars are intended to invite locals and visitors to learn more about the Bergisches Land region. With our portals we want to make the colorful diversity of the nature park tangible. They should reflect what is typically Bergisches Land and whet the appetite for a journey of discovery in the region: "What is special and where can I find it in the region?"

Topics such as nature and landscape, local recreation and tourism, culture, customs and culinary delights were selected and prepared for interactive use.
In cooperation with various regional partners and with the help of digital interfaces, all essential data was brought together in a new database (destination.one).

The colorful nature park logo in the form of a mountain window is the basis and creates the content framework for the portal layout.
Thus, the six colors of the nature park logo on the portals stand for different topics.
The individual themes (lines) are represented as follows:

• Experience Bergisch places (Tile color white)
  Thematically, under this "tile" special Bergisch places are represented.

• Experience Bergisch culture (Tile color gray)
  Here you will find cultural highlights (e.g. museums, sights, buildings, art, churches, monasteries, places of worship or castles & palaces etc.).
  But also contents of the nature park brochures on Bergische professions and Bergische originals (and soon Bergische customs) can be found here.
  Furthermore, under the topic of culinary delights, delicious mountain dishes are described along with their recipes.   

• Experience Bergisch get together (Tile color blue)
  Here you can find everything about events.
  Events are automatically entered here via the "Firstspirit" database interface, the event calendar of the LVR Open Air Museum Lindlar.
  Furthermore, all portal site partners are to be trained in the future to be able to enter their events independently. In this way, a greater reach can be achieved.

• Experience Bergisch landscapes (Tile color green)
  In cooperation with the Biological Station in the nature park area, the different regional landscape types are presented here. Special species are also described and explained here.

• Experience Bergisch sports & fun (Tile color red)
  Via the tourism interface to the leisure planner, everything on the topic of "active" is played out here (e.g. hiking, cycling, water sports, etc.). The data is maintained by the three tourist marketing organizations in the nature park area (Naturarena Bergisches Land, Die Bergischen Drei and Naturregion Sieg).

• Experience Bergisch hospitality
  The guest will find everything on the subject of hotels and gastronomy. The tourist data also comes from the Freizeitplaner database and is updated by all three tourist marketing organizations.

In the lower area of the portal page, essential topics can be found again clearly sorted in the form of a tile wall.
