Hike in the natural orchard meadows on 11.05.2025
The free, guided hike with Peter and Angelika Klein starts at 9:30 am at the hiking parking lot in Eitorf-Bourauel, Hohner Weg.
First, you walk uphill along the wild meadow path in the Mengbachtal valley along the course of the stream. The route follows narrow paths towards Merten-Bruch, where you can take your first break at the chapel. The hike offers great views of the Siebengebirge and Eitorf. On a meadow orchard above Bourauel, there will be a talk by Ulrich Henders about the natural habitat of meadow orchards and the production of apple juice.
