Varied route from the Dhünn valley to the "town on the heights"
Gently rolling hills accompany the hiker first to Hückeswagen, which invites you to take a stroll through the town with its historic alleyways, houses covered in slate and a rustic castle complex. Water, forest and wind then characterize the rest of the route through the valley of the Wupper, which is dammed downstream to form the Wuppertal Dam, and up to Radevormwald, 421 metres above sea level - the "town on the heights", as the locals like to call it.
