On this bike tour you can discover the southwest of Cologne with the whole family;

This tour takes you through Cologne's green belt, past the Geißbockheim and the Decksteiner Weiher. At Fort VI, you will learn about the history of the old fortifications around Cologne. Continue to the forest laboratory, where you cycle through the energy forest, the climate forest and the wilderness forest. Here you will see that not all forests are the same and learn more about this important habitat. Now the route leaves Cologne and heads towards Hürth along flat stretches to the Gertrudenhof farm. Here your children can let off steam in the straw and on the large playground, visit the rabbits and pet and feed the alpacas, goats and many other animals in the petting zoo. The last part of the tour takes you back to Cologne to the start and end point of the tour.

The bike tour is mostly on asphalted and paved roads and paths. Some parts of the tour are on cycle paths along roads. As a rule, the cycle paths are wide enough, but be careful.

Have fun!
