Look forward to a bike tour to the industrial beginnings of the Bergisches Land. The tour starts at the railway museum in Dieringhausen, where you can still feel the atmosphere of bygone railway days. Old locomotives can be marvelled at before the tour leads over a few metres of altitude into the neighbouring Wiehl valley to the Oberwiehl waterways. Here you can learn how the region has successfully mastered the structural change of the last decades and continues to use water power. A visit to the LVR Industrial Museum in Engelskirchen illustrates the industrial history of the Bergisches Land well and rounds off this tour.
