We would like to thank Axel Krämer and Jens Dassow, who look after the trail as volunteer trail patrons.

The ninth stage leads mostly along well-maintained farm tracks as well as some narrow forest and meadow paths, offering a lively alternation of forest and open spaces and beautiful views time and again. The stage has relatively few differences in altitude, climbs slightly from Nespen to Erdingen on forest and meadow paths, but then runs almost exclusively downhill to Morsbach and can therefore be described as relatively easy.
