For young explorers! Search, look closely, concentrate: as a little nature photographer, you use your own camera to look for animals like ants, butterflies, or wildcats, sharpening your gaze on the local wildlife and discovering surprises!
Sought: Ant, woodlouse, bumblebee, hedgehog, tawny owl, dragonfly, butterfly, black stork, edible dormouse, sand lizard, and wildcat. These and many other, partly rare animals live in the forest and on the fields and meadows of the Mengbachtal. With a little luck and attention, you can discover the animals!
Photograph: Try to photograph as many animals as possible! This is not difficult. For example, ants and woodlice are often to be found. But because some animals are very shy, we have helped a little: at the side of the paths, not quite real animals are hidden on some trees. (Tip: look up more often!)
Win: If you have found and photographed four of the eleven animals mentioned, send the pictures by e-mail to: fotosafari@naturregion-sieg.de. All correct entries participate in our annual contest.
The photo safari has not only gained additional animal objects but also a new photo point in the form of the butterfly "swallowtail." With great panorama, this spot is perfect for your memory photo with family, friends, individually or as a pair!
