Since 1974, the old school building has been a place for preserving and maintaining movable monuments, local history, culture, art and nature, and holds exhibits of cultural and historical significance.

Diverse mills, barns, living quarters, an old school class, bakery, smithy, shoemaker, railway signal box, herb garden, beekeeping, historic stove tops, "Aunt Emma's shop" and much more invite visitors to linger in this museum village created with a great deal of heart and soul.
