Südpark Solingen

Short facts

  • Solingen

Where creativity and art are at home | Südpark Solingen Tradition meets innovation in the listed former train station in Solingen.  Instead of trains and railway themes, attention has been turned to product design and art. Südpark Solingen is a creative place where design, development and quality are experienced every day.

This is what awaits you at Südpark Solingen

After the trains set off on their last journey in 2006 and the title of main train station was officially handed over to the station in Solingen-Ohligs, the art moved in. The former goods halls house a total of 16 studios where artists can express themselves creatively and exhibit their paintings, graphic art and sculptures.

Experiencing art is one thing. Getting hands-on yourself is another. Regular activities, workshops and seminars offer space for your own creativity. In the “Product Design” forum, people regularly convene for exhibitions and conferences. The Museum Plagiarius, in which the brazen theft of ideas is exhibited in a highly informative manner, is also located in the Südpark.

Südpark Solingen as an event venue
