Der Bergische Weg ist Deutschlands schönster Wanderweg 2024!

Stage 8 leads from Rösrath-Forsbach to Overath.

From Rösrath-Forsbach, the trail leads through Hoffnungsthal along the banks of the Sülz up to Lüderich, where the last mine in the Bensberg ore district ceased operations in 1978. Finally, in the Agger Valley, the stage leads along dreamy paths and through the landscape park of Gut Eichthal to the lively town of Overath.

If you hike the Bergischer Weg and take photos at certain places along the way, you can collect points and receive a hiking pin. You can find more information here.

We would like to thank Dieter Vierkotten, Timo Stein and Timm Schelzig, who look after the trail as volunteer trail patrons.

You can find all the hosts on stage 8 here.
