Short facts

Die Aggertalsperre: wandern, baden, Wassersport und Erholung am See im grünen Bergischen Land.

Die Aggertalsperre is a lake in the middle of the "Oberbergische Valley reservoir landscape" near Gummersbach and Bergneustadt. It stretches across two river branches and invites you on beautiful hikes and walks with a view of the water.

At the Aggertalsperre reservoir, various watersports activities are available. At Bruch Lido, you can swim to your heart’s content, and at the Aggertalsperre Leisure Campsite too. Rowing boats and peddle boats are available here for an adventurous tour on the water. Barbecue spaces round off the perfect day at the lake. And anyone who would like to spend a few days at the Aggertalsperre reservoir can also camp here.

At the Aggertalsperre dam wall, the themed "Energieweg" (Energy Trail) hike begins as part of the Scout Trails series by Bergische Wanderland (Bergisch Hiking Country).

Groups can plan a free tour of the dam wall and gain an interesting insight into the technology.
