The Brucher dam is the closest to the source of the Wupper and was built in 1912 and 1913. It requires 3.37 million cubic meters of water to fill it. The water basin then has a surface area of 47.4 hectares.

Information for groups
Free guided tours are offered by prior appointment. They usually take place from Monday to Thursday between 9 am and 1 pm. Guided tours are also often offered on open days.
