Spreitger Weg (near the spa gardens), 51588 Nümbrecht
Agger bridge at the AWO senior center, Brückenstraße, 51766 Engelskirchen-Ründeroth
The last stage offers a lot of variety once again: on meadow paths, picturesque trails and secluded farm tracks, it combines cultural highlights with great views. There are also some challenging climbs awaiting hikers.
Starting from Nümbrecht, the route initially follows wide paths to Homburg Castle and continues through the forest to Holsteins Mühle. The Bergischer Panoramasteig leads along the Stockheimer Bach stream to Stockheim and then gently up and down on forest and meadow paths via Großfischbach, Hengstenberg and Linden to Bielstein. The Erzquell brewery, which produces Zunft Kölsch beer, is the most easterly Kölsch brewery here. The route continues through the Ülpetal valley to the motocross track and, after crossing the L321, climbs steeply uphill to Niederhof and on to Immerkopf. Beautiful forest paths now lead slightly downhill to Forst, before the panorama trail climbs steeply again behind the A4 to Hohe Warte. The route now descends on partly wide, partly narrow forest paths to Ründeroth, where this last stage ends at the Aggerbrücke bridge at the retirement home.
